1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or of legal age in your jurisdiction, to use this website and purchase from Afrofrik. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Products & Handmade Variations
Afrofrik specialises in handmade art, fashion, and cultural pieces.
Because our products are crafted by artisans, small variations in color, pattern, texture, or size are natural and part of each item’s uniqueness. These are not considered defects.
Product descriptions and photos are provided for reference; the actual item may vary slightly.
3. Orders & Payment
By placing an order, you agree to pay the total amount displayed at checkout, including shipping costs and any applicable taxes or duties.
Payments are processed securely through Shopify and its approved providers.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders suspected of fraud or unauthorized activity.
4. Shipping & Delivery
We ship worldwide from Ghana.
Shipping costs are paid by the buyer and are calculated at checkout.
Delivery times vary by destination and courier; delays caused by customs or logistics are outside our control.
Afrofrik is not responsible for loss, delay, or damage once the package is in the hands of the courier. Buyers should contact the courier directly for shipping claims.
Any customs duties, taxes, or handling fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
5. Returns & Refunds
Our goal is your satisfaction. Please review our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary:
We offer refunds or replacements for defective, damaged (not due to courier), or incorrect items reported within 7 days of delivery.
Photos or videos must be provided as proof.
Returns are generally not required due to high international costs.
Normal wear and tear, courier-related damage, and handmade variations are not covered.
Change of mind purchases are not refundable.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on Afrofrik.com — including text, images, logos, and designs — is the property of Afrofrik Creatives Enterprise or our partners and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
Afrofrik shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, resulting from use of our website or products.
Afrofrik is not responsible for issues outside our control, including courier mishandling, customs delays, or customer misuse of products.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
9. Changes to Terms
Afrofrik reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of those changes.
